Honor has launched the Pad X9 Max, a new tablet featuring a large 13 inch display designed for media consumption and productivity. The hardware pairs a massive 10100 mAh battery with a quad speaker acoustic system for immersive entertainment. But buyers will have to pay extra for the optional stylus and keyboard accessories.
The screen serves as the centerpiece of this hardware. It uses a 13 inch IPS panel with a sharp 2500x1560 resolution and a fluid 120 Hz refresh rate. Outdoor visibility reaches up to 700 nits of peak brightness. To prevent eye strain, the software includes a paper simulation mode alongside DC Dimming. The panel also boasts TUV Rheinland certifications to guarantee low blue light emissions and flicker free viewing.
Internal performance relies on a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor. The top tier model offers 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card slot. Powering the system is a 10100 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, capable of delivering up to 16 hours of continuous video playback. The device runs on MagicOS 10 built on top of Android 16. This software package includes several AI tools and allows file sharing across different operating systems including iOS, HarmonyOS, and Windows. A 5 MP sensor is used on both the front and rear cameras.
For audio, the aluminum chassis houses 4 internal speakers certified by IMAX Enhanced. Connectivity options include Wi Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB C port. The physical body is remarkably thin at just 6.72 millimeters and weighs approximately 618 grams. Honor will release the tablet first in the UK market. The base 4GB and 128GB version will retail for £349, while the premium 6GB and 256GB model will cost £449.
