REDMI has showcased the K100 Pro Max at the ChinaJoy exhibition, revealing its physical design ahead of the full product launch. The launch event is scheduled for the coming weeks, where the company will debut both the K100 Pro and the K100 Pro Max. A basic K100 model will arrive at a later point, with Xiaomi president Lu Weibing confirming that development of the junior model continues. REDMI accelerated the release timeline due to rising component costs, particularly memory. Prices are rising. This shift has impacted production budgets across the industry. The standard K100 Pro will sit in the mid tier market with an estimated price of 4000 yuan, which converts to roughly 590 dollars.

Visually, the K100 Pro Max stands out with a metal frame that matches the primary chassis color. The back panel houses a wide camera block reminiscent of the older 90 series. It is a bold look. This camera housing integrates a physical subwoofer and an interactive light ring. The ring illuminates in response to music, incoming phone calls, and virtual assistant interactions.

While official internal details remain under wraps, supply chain leaks paint a picture of a premium powerhouse. The K100 Pro series will reportedly run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Screen options will include flat displays measuring 6.59 inches and 6.9 inches, supporting refresh rates up to 185 Hz.

The premium K100 Pro Max is rumored to carry a massive battery capacity exceeding 9000 mAh. Charging speeds are expected to reach 100W for wired connections and 50W for wireless pads. For photography, the phone reportedly relies on a 200 megapixel main sensor paired with a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto lens. Audio capabilities will include a 2.1 acoustic setup tuned by Bose. Outside of China, these models will likely receive a global release under the POCO brand, taking on the names F9 Pro and F9 Ultra.
