Vivo has officially announced the upcoming arrival of the vivo T5 in India through promotional listings on Flipkart. The mid range smartphone packs a massive 7050mAh battery into an ultra slim 7.99 millimeter body, alongside a fast 144Hz curved AMOLED display. The device is scheduled to launch in just a few days in 2 distinct color options.
The front of the phone features a 6.83 inch curved AMOLED panel with a sharp 1.5K resolution. Heavy media consumers get smooth visuals thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate. Outdoor visibility should not be an issue either, as the panel reaches a peak brightness of 2000 nits. Despite housing an unusually large battery, vivo managed to keep the chassis at just 7.99 millimeters thick. Buyers will be able to choose between Royal Bronze and Silver Green finishes.
Under the hood, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor. Powering the system is a 7050mAh battery, which ranks among the largest capacities in this category. Promotional teasers indicate that the vivo T5 shares a nearly identical hardware platform with the Indian variant of the iQOO Z11. That related model features 44W fast charging support and a 32MP front camera for selfies. Official pricing and final retail availability will go live on Flipkart later this week.
