8BitDo has launched the Arcade Controller Pro, a new leverless fight stick designed with a tight button layout and an integrated 1.47 inch smart screen. The controller features hot swappable low profile Kailh mechanical switches, RGB lighting, and over 40 hours of wireless battery life. The device is currently available in China starting at 699 yuan (approx. $104 USD), which includes a bundled hard shell storage case.

The controller adopts a leverless layout equipped with Kailh low profile competitive switches. These mechanical components feature a POM stem with a short 0.8mm actuation distance and a light 40gf operating force to enable rapid inputs during fighting game matches. The internal board supports hot swap replacements, allowing players to install alternative switches easily. An additional P5 auxiliary key is also located on the surface for custom input mapping.

Response times remain competitive across all connection modes. The controller achieves 2.08ms latency over wired USB, 3.7ms over a 2.4GHz wireless connection, and 5ms over Bluetooth. A 3000mAh internal battery provides over 40 hours of continuous gameplay between charges, making it suitable for long tournament sessions without constant recharging.

8BitDo slimmed down the frame compared to previous fight sticks. The main body measures 16mm in thickness, which is a noticeable reduction from the 22mm thickness of older models. The package includes a magnetic detachable palm rest for wrist support and a dedicated storage area for cables and small parts. The top tempered glass panel uses a quick release mechanism, allowing users to swap custom artwork underneath the glass without using special tools.

Cable management is reinforced for competitive reliability. The top USB C port includes a physical cable lock structure to stop accidental disconnects during intense gameplay. An extra USB C port is located on the left side of the chassis to offer alternative connection angles for different desktop setups.
