AMD is preparing a new entry level desktop processor for its AM5 socket. According to hardware leaker Roland Quandt, the Ryzen 5 7500 brings 6 cores and 12 threads with clock speeds matching the popular 7500F. But the new chip will cost noticeably more due to a bundled cooler and integrated graphics.
The silicon relies on the proven Zen 4 architecture and runs with a 65W power target. It features a base frequency of 3.7 GHz alongside a maximum boost limit of 5.0 GHz. Total memory cache reaches 38MB, which splits into 32MB of L3 cache and 6MB of L2 cache. These core numbers mirror the existing Ryzen 5 7500F almost identically, giving budget PC builders a familiar performance baseline.
Early pricing estimates place the processor around 230 euros. That is a noticeable jump from the 7500F, which usually sells between 99 and 140 euros, while sitting just below the 7500X3D at roughly 270 euros. The price gap comes down to packaging and extra silicon features.
Unlike the 7500F which sold mostly as an OEM tray chip without display output, this standard Ryzen 5 7500 is expected to include integrated Radeon graphics. It will also ship in a standard retail box complete with an air cooler. Launch pricing in markets often sits high during the opening weeks before major retailers begin offering discounts.
