BOOX has updated its electronic paper catalog with 3 new models: the Note Air6 C, Note Mini C, and Palma 3. All 3 devices ship with full Android 16 and Google Play support right out of the box. The refreshed hardware is arriving in the United States market with prices starting at $340 for the pocket reader.
The Flagship Note Air6 C
The Note Air6 C serves as the premium large screen option in the new family. It features a 10.3 inch Kaleido 3 color screen that outputs 2480x1860 resolution in black and white mode and 1240x930 resolution in color across 4096 shades. Display refresh speeds are 45% faster compared to the previous model. The chassis measures 5.8 millimeters thick and weighs 430 grams, housing a 3700 mAh battery and dual tone front lights for night reading.
Input options include the bundled BOOX Pen3 stylus which supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. Users can also pair an optional keyboard cover for writing workflows. The tablet is available for purchase now in the United States for $580.
Compact Note Mini C and the Smartphone Sized Palma 3
For users who prefer a smaller digital notepad, the Note Mini C offers an 8.52 inch Kaleido 3 color panel. It weighs around 300 grams with a 6 millimeter thickness and comes with a magnetic BOOX InSight stylus. This mid sized tablet will release at a later date with a retail price of around $580.
The Palma 3 takes a very different direction with a 6.13 inch monochrome screen shaped like a modern smartphone. It packs a built in front light, an aluminum chassis, and a paper textured fiberglass rear panel. It also includes a 16 megapixel rear camera to scan documents on the move. The pocket reader goes on sale shortly in the United States for around $340.
