Colorful has released a new Panda edition of its Hidden Star P15 gaming laptop in China. The machine combines a two tone silver and black chassis with an Intel Core i5 13420H chip and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. Pricing starts at 6299 yuan, with regional subsidies dropping the entry cost to 5354.15 yuan.
The Panda moniker comes directly from the exterior color scheme. Colorful chose silver surfaces for the outer lid, keyboard deck, and base plate, while surrounding the display panel with black borders. Opening the machine reveals a 1920x1080 resolution screen that runs at a fast 144Hz refresh rate. Typing duties are handled by a full size keyboard equipped with colorful multi zone backlighting and a dedicated number pad.
Internal components target budget conscious buyers who need reliable 1080p gaming performance. The laptop runs an Intel Core i5 13420H processor supported by 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM and a 512GB PCIe 3.0 solid state drive. Graphics processing relies on an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 laptop GPU. Heat management inside the shell is handled by a dual fan cooling system built to exhaust warm air under heavy gaming workloads.
Physical connections are spread across both edges of the chassis. The left edge provides 1 USB C 3.2 Gen 2 port, 1 RJ45 ethernet jack for low latency wired internet, and 1 micro SD card reader.
