Honor has opened reservations for the Magic 9 series on JD.com ahead of an official launch event in Beijing. The flagship Magic 9 Pro Max introduces a dual 200MP camera system engineered with ARRI alongside attachable teleconverter lenses. Early buyers who place a deposit also receive extended warranty coverage and a bundled fitness tracker.
The standout feature on the Magic 9 Pro Max is its optical setup. Honor packed 2 separate 200MP sensors into the phone. The primary camera uses a 1/1.28 inch sensor with a wide f/1.57 aperture and gimbal level stabilization for steady video. For distant subjects, the secondary 200MP telephoto camera uses a 1/1.4 inch sensor with an f/2.6 aperture tuned specifically for night capture.
Mobile photographers can also pick up a dedicated Photography Master Kit. The collection includes a large 500mm teleconverter lens that mounts directly over the camera array to boost zoom range. For a lighter setup, Honor created a compact 200mm thumb lens. That smaller accessory measures roughly 81mm in length and weighs just 88g, making it easy to carry in a pocket.
Customers reserving the device through JD.com get several bonus incentives upon release. Honor is bundling 1 year of screen protection, 2 years of battery insurance, and an Honor Band 11 Lite valued at 249 yuan. The company plans to announce full retail pricing and hardware availability during its Beijing presentation later this month.
