Honor has officially launched the X9e Pro, a mid range smartphone engineered around massive battery life and extreme outdoor durability. The handset pairs an 11000 mAh power cell and a 10000 nit AMOLED display with rugged IP69K water resistance. It is currently available in select international markets starting at roughly $465.
The device sports a 6.8 inch AMOLED panel pushing a resolution of 2788x1280 pixels alongside a 120Hz refresh rate. Honor claims the screen can reach a peak brightness of 10000 nits while covering the full P3 color space. Protection comes via Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front glass. For physical endurance, the chassis is built to survive drops onto hard surfaces from heights of up to 3 meters. It also holds IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, ensuring full protection against high pressure water jets and total dust ingress.
Under the hood sits a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor paired with 8GB of physical RAM. Using the Honor RAM Turbo software feature, users can allocate internal storage to expand available memory up to 24GB. Storage options include 256GB or 512GB capacities. Wireless connectivity covers 5G networks, Wi Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and dual SIM card support.
Battery longevity is the standout selling point. The internal power cell holds 11000 mAh of capacity, supported by 80W wired charging and 27W reverse charging to power up external accessories. Honor states that the battery chemistry is designed to maintain its operational health for 6 years of daily usage.
Photography is handled by a 108 MP main camera equipped with optical image stabilization and CIPA 6.0 stabilization technology. It sits alongside a 5 MP ultra wide sensor, while the front cutout houses a 16 MP selfie shooter. The camera system supports 4K video capture and includes a dedicated mode specifically tuned for underwater photography.
The Honor X9e Pro has started selling in Malaysia with a starting price of $465 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration, while the 512GB storage model costs $590. Regional rollouts in other international markets are scheduled to begin in mid October.
