Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.8992 Adds Support for 2 Games and Fixes Glitches

Intel has released Graphics Driver version 32.0.101.8992 for its Arc graphics lineup. The non WHQL update introduces day one optimizations for 2 newly launched games alongside targeted graphical fixes for titles running on DirectX 12 and DirectX 9. But several lingering stability bugs remain on modern Core Ultra chips and dedicated Arc cards.

The primary highlight of this release is official support for Onimusha: Way of the Sword and The Blood of Dawnwalker. Players jumping into these releases on Intel hardware should see smoother frame delivery. Intel also tackled annoying visual bugs that affected older and newer titles alike.

Marathon previously showed random texture and object corruption when running on DirectX 12 with anisotropic filtering turned on. This driver eliminates those rendering errors across all Arc product tiers. Assassin's Creed Revelations running on DirectX 9 no longer suffers from flickering screens. In 007, players will no longer experience full screen image artifacts during Chapter 8 gameplay.

A few software bugs still require attention from Intel engineers. On Core Ultra Series 3 processors with integrated Arc graphics, Mafia: The Old Country can crash unexpectedly during gameplay. On older Core Ultra Series 1 chips, both NBA 2K26 and 007 may crash on their very first launch attempt.

Dedicated Arc B Series and Arc A Series cards run into crashes in Arena Breakout: Infinite if you turn on terrain surface tessellation. Creative workloads face a known hiccup as well. Running PugetBench for DaVinci Resolve Studio can trigger application crashes during benchmark passes. Intel officially advises users to raise the timeout slider in the benchmark settings to 1500 seconds or higher to bypass the problem.

The companion Intel Graphics Software has a couple of interface bugs. The 3 dots options menu on the display settings screen might become unresponsive. In multi GPU configurations, the beta performance tuning page might try to push clock and voltage changes to every connected device at once instead of letting you adjust GPUs individually.

According to official Intel documentation, the package bundles Intel Media SDK Runtime 21.0.1.35 and Intel oneVPL GPU Runtime 21.0.2.17. It supports DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.4, and OpenGL 4.6. The driver is compatible with 64 bit versions of Windows 10 from the late 2022 update onward, as well as Windows 11 builds up to version 25H2.
