Lenovo is preparing to introduce the Googlebook 15, a new laptop that blends ChromeOS and Android around Gemini AI. Leaked promotional assets reveal a 15.3 inch OLED display, an Intel Core Ultra 5 chip, and a companion AI Mouse with integrated light strips. Official pre orders are expected to open in just a few days.
Leaker Evan Blass shared marketing images on X showcasing the hardware design. The laptop weighs roughly 1.29 kilograms and measures 16 millimeters thick. Its exterior lid features a colorful Glowbar strip that displays battery levels and charging status at a glance. Opening the device reveals a 15.3 inch OLED touchscreen with a sharp 2880x1800 resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This panel reaches 500 nits of peak brightness with complete DCI P3 color coverage. A 5MP camera sits above the screen with facial authentication support and a physical privacy shutter.
The keyboard deck houses a large 150 by 95 millimeter haptic trackpad. Lenovo added a dedicated Google G key positioned right between the Fn and Alt buttons. This key will likely trigger Gemini AI tools directly or handle system shortcuts. On the software side, the machine combines elements from Android and ChromeOS to create a unified ecosystem. Audio output is powered by a 4 speaker system built into the chassis.
Under the hood, the Googlebook 15 runs on an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor. Buyers can configure the laptop with 16GB or 32GB of fast LPDDR5x memory alongside 256GB or 512GB of solid state storage. A 70Wh battery targets up to 11 hours of runtime on a single charge. Wireless connections use modern Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 standards. The port selection includes 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, 1 USB A 3.2 port, HDMI 2.0, and a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack.
Lenovo is also launching matching accessories to complement the laptop. Promotional bundles show a new AI Mouse featuring its own glowing LED strip.
