Lenovo has officially entered the premium Googlebook category with its new Googlebook 15. The machine pairs an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor 325 with a 15.3 inch 120Hz OLED touchscreen and integrated Gemini artificial intelligence tools. It goes on sale next week with a starting price of $1099.99.
Internal hardware centers on the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor 325 paired with up to 32GB of soldered LPDDR5X 7467 memory. Storage uses 1 M.2 2242 solid state drive running on PCIe Gen4 speeds. Visual output runs on a 15.3 inch OLED panel pushing a 2880 by 1800 resolution at 120Hz. The panel produces 500 nits of brightness, covers 100% of the DCI P3 color space, and accepts multi touch finger input.
Portability is where this machine stands out. The top shell uses a magnesium aluminum alloy, while the bottom plate uses a carbon fiber and plastic composite treated to resist finger smudges. It measures 15.95 millimeters thick and weighs just 1.29 kilograms. That makes it the lightest 15 inch class portable computer Lenovo has ever built.
Google services run deep throughout the hardware. A dedicated Google H1 security chip protects login credentials alongside a physical fingerprint reader and facial recognition cameras. The chassis includes a signature Glowbar notification light that reacts to Gemini tasks and incoming alerts. Typing relies on an LED backlit keyboard with 1.3 millimeters of key travel paired with a borderless glass haptic trackpad.
Physical connections cover 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, 1 USB A port running at 5Gbps, 1 HDMI 2.1 connection, and 1 standard 3.5 millimeter headphone jack. Wireless connections support Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. Audio comes through a 4 speaker Dolby Atmos system made of 2 tweeters and 2 woofers, backed by 2 microphones. A 70Whr battery powers the computer through daily workloads.
