Lenovo has introduced the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 and Yoga Tab Gen 2 tablets for digital creators. Both devices feature pen first controls, native artificial intelligence tools, and long term software support through Android 24. Prices start at 649€ in Europe with retail availability scheduled for September 2026.
The 2 models target different creative workflows. The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 is the powerhouse, sporting a 13 inch 4K PureSight Pro display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite silicon. It includes a Harman Kardon audio setup and works with a magnetic clamshell keyboard. The standard Yoga Tab Gen 2 focuses on portability. It carries an 11 inch screen, weighs just 480 grams, and runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. Color choices include Cosmic Blue and Seashell.
Software longevity is one of the biggest selling points for this release. Lenovo ships both tablets with Android 17 and commits to 7 operating system upgrades, ending at Android 24. Security updates will continue all the way through 2033. This matches the longest support windows currently available in the mobile market.
Input relies heavily on the Tab Pen Pro 2. The stylus supports 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity alongside gesture actions like Click to Draw, Squeeze to Select, and Flip to Erase. On the software side, the system includes local tools like Lenovo Qira, AI Note, and Live Transcript. These tools process handwriting, voice, and touch inputs directly on the device.
During demonstrations at Lenovo Innovation World, the company previewed its Smart Canvas Concept. This feature lets creators start a project on a Yoga tablet and move it directly to a connected desktop computer like the Yoga AIO. For retail pricing, the 11 inch model starts at 649€, while the 13 inch Plus version retails from 849€.
