MaxTang has released the T1 AL50, a compact mini PC powered by Intel 12th and 13th Gen mobile processors. The lineup now includes the Core i7-12700H, while the Core i7-13620H and Core i5-12450H models were already available. The desktop brings high-speed networking to small workspaces with dual 2.5GbE ports and a Thunderbolt 4 connection. However, the system relies on older DDR4 memory rather than newer DDR5 standards.
The system measures 127 by 127 by 50.5 millimeters with a starting weight of 371 grams. Inside the chassis, you get 2 DDR4 SO DIMM slots for system memory. Storage options include 2 distinct drive bays. There is 1 M.2 2280 PCIe slot alongside 1 secondary M.2 2280 slot that accepts either PCIe or SATA drives. For networking upgrades, an M.2 2230 E Key slot allows you to install a wireless card. A dedicated active cooling module manages thermal output during heavier processing workloads.
Physical port options are divided between the front and back panels. On the front, users have 2 USB 3.2 Type A ports, 1 Thunderbolt 4 Type C port, and 1 standard 3.5mm combo audio jack. This setup gives you quick access for portable drives and wired headsets.
Around the back, the mini PC includes 2 2.5GbE RJ45 ethernet ports for fast hardwired local connections. Video outputs include 1 HDMI port and 1 DisplayPort connector for multi monitor workstations. The back panel also houses 1 additional USB 3.2 Type A port and 1 USB 2.0 Type A port for everyday peripherals like a keyboard and mouse.
