Nothing has launched the Headphone (1) Pro, bringing major acoustic upgrades to its over ear lineup. The new cans feature a 3 driver audio architecture, 46dB of active noise canceling, and deep custom equalizer controls tuned alongside Metropolis Studios. They are available now through Nothing, Amazon, and Best Buy for $399.
Acoustic engineering took center stage for this release. Inside each ear cup sits a 3 driver setup designed to divide frequencies cleanly across the spectrum. The team collaborated directly with Metropolis Studios to voice the default audio profile. You get a natural, balanced output right out of the box.
Audio enthusiasts get deeper control inside the Nothing X app. Rather than handing you a generic five band slider, the software lets you independently calibrate the primary drivers and a dedicated 3rd precision unit. You can adjust subtle audio frequencies to suit your exact tastes. If you want pure neutral sound without any coloration, a physical toggle on the ear cup switches the system to a flat curve instantly. The cans also offer spatial audio presets for live house settings and concert halls, complete with an optional head tracking toggle.
Noise cancellation jumps ahead as well. The internal processing system now eliminates up to 46dB of exterior noise, outperforming the 42dB rating on the original model. That silence comes from a 10 microphone array working alongside thicker ear cushions that form a tight acoustic seal around your head.
The physical design received subtle tweaks to improve comfort during long listening sessions. Overall weight drops down to 327 grams. A wider headband distributes pressure more evenly, supported by plush padding on every contact point. Nothing also replaced several plastic exterior accents with glass elements for a cleaner look. Tactile dials and physical rollers remain on the sides of the earcups, letting you adjust volume and track selection without reaching for your phone.
Wired audio fans can plug in directly using USB Type C for lossless digital audio playback. Wireless streaming supports high resolution codecs for compatible smartphones and tablets. Nothing is currently selling the Headphone (1) Pro on its official website, Amazon, and Best Buy for $399.
