OPPO K14 Lite Debuts with 7000 mAh Battery and 120 Hz Screen

OPPO has launched the K14 Lite, an affordable smartphone packing a massive 7000 mAh battery and built in AI photo tools. The handset features a 6.75 inch 120 Hz display and runs Android 16 out of the box. Available in purple and brown, the device is now on sale in India for $202.

The main selling point of the OPPO K14 Lite is its massive 7000 mAh power cell. OPPO claims the battery retains over 80% of its original capacity even after 1800 charge cycles. That is exceptional endurance for a budget device. According to official testing, a single charge provides up to 55.5 hours of voice calls, 27 hours of streaming video on YouTube, or 13 hours of continuous gaming in PUBG Mobile.

Up front, the phone carries a 6.75 inch HD+ screen with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness rating of 900 nits. The glass incorporates specialized touch recognition that works even when fingers are wet, greasy, or covered by gloves. The chassis also carries an official IP64 rating, giving it solid resistance against dust ingress and accidental water splashes.

Under the hood, the device runs on a Unisoc T7250 processor paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X memory and 64GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. To prevent throttling during heavy use, OPPO installed a graphite cooling system covering an area of 13700 square millimeters. This helps spread thermal load evenly across the interior during extended gaming sessions.

The software experience is driven by ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. OPPO has baked several machine learning photo utilities directly into the operating system, including AI Eraser, AI Clear Face, and AI Smart Image Matting 2.0, along with integration for Google Gemini. For optics, you get a single 13 megapixel main rear camera with autofocus support, alongside a 5 megapixel front facing camera for video calls.
