Sigma has announced official regional pricing for 2 new full frame mirrorless lenses built for Sony E mount and Leica L mount camera systems. The lineup includes the fast 85mm F1.2 Art prime priced at 9388 CNY and the compact 20 to 60mm F2.8 to F4 zoom lens at 4999 CNY. Both models focus on delivering high optical clarity while keeping physical weight lower than competing alternatives.
The 85mm F1.2 DG DN Art stands as the third entry in the high aperture prime lineup from Sigma, joining the existing 35mm and 50mm F1.2 options. Inside the barrel sits an optical structure of 15 elements arranged across 13 groups, containing 2 SLD elements and 3 aspherical elements. A 13 blade rounded aperture diaphragm helps maintain smooth background blur even when shooting with smaller apertures.
Weight reduction is the primary engineering highlight here. The L mount version weighs approximately 905 grams, making it lighter than previous DSLR models and rival F1.2 options on the market. Autofocus relies on dual HLA linear motors for fast and quiet subject tracking. The lens barrel includes 2 AFL buttons, an aperture ring with a dedicated lock switch, and a declick switch designed specifically for video creators who need smooth exposure transitions.
