The new phones feature a distinctive red finish built with micrometer scale films that create a textured relief, alongside custom transparent wallpapers showing the internal components. Pricing starts at 9999 yuan for the Pro model packing 16GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage.
The standout visual element of the new series is its red exterior styling. Xiaomi uses layered micro films across the rear chassis to create a tactile 3D relief texture rather than a flat glass finish. To complement the exterior, the software includes matching transparent wallpapers on both the front and rear displays that artistically expose the internal circuit layout. It gives users a stylized view inside the phone without requiring a completely see through casing.
Xiaomi is extending the red aesthetic across the entire unboxing experience. Each unit comes inside a custom presentation gift box packed with themed accessories. Buyers receive a specialized transparent red charging brick alongside a matching red data cable. Everything in the package is styled to match the visual theme of the phone.
Both versions in the lineup come in a single high capacity configuration with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The standard Xiaomi 18 Pro Transparent Special Edition retails for 9,999 yuan (approx. $1,490 USD). If you want the larger screen and chassis, the Pro Max variant costs 10,999 yuan (approx. $1,639 USD). The special edition is currently available for purchase in China.
