Xiaomi has introduced its first RGB Mini LED television lineup in China, consisting of the standard TV S Pro and an upgraded Supreme Edition. The new displays replace standard white backlights with dedicated red, green, and blue diodes to achieve 100% BT.2020 color coverage alongside peak brightness levels reaching 5500 nits. Available in sizes spanning 65 to 98 inches, pricing starts at roughly $894 for the entry tier.
Traditional Mini LED panels rely on white backlighting passed through color filters. Xiaomi changed this formula by placing individual red, green, and blue light sources directly behind the liquid crystal layer. This design cuts power draw by roughly 30% during scenes dominated by a single hue compared to 2026 hardware. Peak luminance reaches 5000 nits on the standard TV S Pro, while the Supreme Edition pushes output to 5500 nits. Depending on screen dimensions, local dimming zones scale from 2160 on the 65 inch model up to 4860 on the massive 98 inch panel. Supreme models also feature an anti glare film that drops surface reflection down to 0.5%, compared to 1.8% on the baseline sets.
Gamers receive native 4K resolution running at 180Hz with support for variable refresh rates and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. Competitive players can push the Supreme Edition up to 360Hz by enabling a dedicated esports mode. Physical connectivity includes 4 HDMI 2.1 ports with eARC audio passthrough on 1 port, accompanied by Wi Fi 6, USB, and gigabit Ethernet. Under the hood, a quad core Cortex A73 processor runs the new HyperOS 4 platform alongside 4GB of memory and 64GB of local storage. Supreme units also carry a custom XM9000 co processor that coordinates backlight timing with the display layer. A millimeter wave radar sensor tracks viewer position in real time to adjust audio and visual output automatically.
Audio hardware marks another major divide between the 2 models. The standard TV S Pro carries a 130 watt 2.1.2 sound system tuned by Harman with up firing speakers and a subwoofer. The Supreme Edition upgrades this to a 170 watt 4.1.2 setup that adds discrete side channels and Dolby Atmos processing. Both models use a metal enclosure measuring 49.7 millimeters thick on the 65 inch model and 54.9 millimeters on the 98 inch version. A custom wall mount leaves a gap of just 5 millimeters between the chassis and the wall.
In China, the standard TV S Pro begins at 5999 yuan or about $894 for the 65 inch screen and caps at 12999 yuan or $1937 for the 98 inch variant. The Supreme Edition runs from 6299 yuan or roughly $939 up to 13999 yuan or $2085. Xiaomi has not stated when these sets will see an international rollout.
