ASUS has introduced the ROG Bulwark Dock DG310, an accessory designed for the ROG XBOX Ally family of handheld consoles. The accessory provides 6 in 1 connectivity including HDMI 2.1 video output and 80W power delivery over USB C. It connects through a single attached cable and enables living room gaming on supported television displays.
The dock uses an angled stand that maintains open airflow for the handheld cooling vents. A permanently attached 60cm USB C cable with a 90 degree angled head connects directly to the top of the console. The base unit includes 3 USB Type A 3.2 Gen 1 ports for external controllers, mice, and keyboards. A 1Gb Ethernet port provides hardwired local network access, while the primary USB C port accepts a 100W power input to pass up to 80W directly to the console. The exterior also includes 4 selectable RGB lighting presets for customizable illumination.
Video output centers on an HDMI 2.1 port capable of handling 4K resolution at 144Hz. The connection supports variable refresh rate, auto low latency mode, and high dynamic range to eliminate frame stutter on compatible displays. When connected to supported smart televisions, the dock signals the display to identify the device as an XBOX console. This trigger automatically switches the television into its low lag Game mode to minimize input delay.
Wireless accessories connect through a physical pairing switch located on the dock chassis. Pressing this dedicated button starts instant Bluetooth synchronization for wireless headsets and controllers without requiring navigation through system software menus. This allows users to link extra input devices directly from the dock while the handheld rests in the cradle.
