GIGABYTE has officially listed the WRX90 AI TOP, a high performance workstation motherboard designed for the AMD Socket sTR5 platform. The board features an E ATX footprint with a 32+3+3+3 power phase design and support for up to 2TB of DDR5 memory across 8 channels. Detailed hardware specifications are now live on the official GIGABYTE website, signaling immediate availability for system integrators and AI workstation builders.
The motherboard uses a 14 layer ultra low loss PCB to maintain signal stability under heavy operational loads. Memory support covers 8 channel 1DPC DDR5 RDIMM modules, reaching total capacities of 2TB. Thermal management includes the DDR Wind Blade XTREME Duo dual fan cooler to reduce memory temperatures during long computing sessions. Dedicated active cooling fans also cover the VRM heatsinks and the primary chipset.
GIGABYTE equips the board with 7 full length PCIe slots. This array consists of 6 PCIe Gen5 x16 slots and 1 PCIe Gen5 x8 slot, enabling dense multi GPU configurations for parallel workloads. Storage connectivity includes 2 MCIO 8i interfaces, 3 M.2 2280 PCIe slots, and 4 SATA III ports for traditional storage arrays.
Rear panel connectivity includes 2 USB4 ports, 2 10GbE RJ45 ethernet ports, and 2 DisplayPort inputs. An empty M.2 slot supports add on wireless cards. For enterprise server administration, an integrated ASPEED AST2600 BMC chip provides IPMI remote management capabilities. This system controller supplies a dedicated 1GbE management port alongside a legacy VGA output for direct server setup.
