HUAWEI has announced the Mate TV 2 series, featuring Super MiniLED panels and an AI engine capable of converting standard 2D video into 3D in real time. Powered by the Kirin T92 processor, the new smart screens offer peak brightness levels reaching up to 6000 nits on the largest 110 inch variant. The lineup is currently available in China starting at $1191 for the base 65 inch model.
HUAWEI builds every Mate TV 2 unit on its proprietary Kirin T92 chipset running HarmonyOS 7. This setup connects natively with the broader hardware ecosystem, allowing users to control smart home equipment and share displays across laptops, tablets, and phones. Memory options depend on the chosen model tier. The entry level Enjoy and standard Mate TV 2 models come equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Stepping up to the Pro and Max editions doubles memory performance with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space.
Display performance centers on Super MiniLED technology paired with an anti glare layer boasting an ultra low reflection rating of LR 0.5. Peak brightness reaches 5000 nits on the Enjoy, standard, and Pro models, while the flagship 110 inch Max panel reaches 6000 nits. Built in AI processing actively analyzes 2D video frames to render full 3D visual depth on the fly. Sound setups scale across the range to match screen dimensions. The Enjoy edition delivers 130W through a 2.2 channel setup, the standard variant pushes 180W across a 3.2.2 channel configuration, and the Pro model peaks at 240W of total acoustic power.
HUAWEI has released all 4 hardware tiers in China across multiple size choices. The Mate TV 2 Enjoy begins at $1191 for the 65 inch display and tops out at $2084 for the 85 inch size. The standard Mate TV 2 costs $1489 in its 65 inch version and rises to $4020 for the 98 inch panel. Buyers looking at the Mate TV 2 Pro will pay $2531 for the smallest screen size and $5211 for the 98 inch variant. The 110 inch Mate TV 2 Max represents the top of the line, carrying a retail price of $9677.
