Developer Lex has launched the first seasonal Halloween event for Mycelium The Silent Contract. The update introduces a time limited murder investigation side story alongside a temporary currency system for exclusive cosmetics. Players can access the new content immediately across the redesigned game lobby and forest locations.
The update centers on an investigation led by an anonymous FBI agent. Players explore the forest to uncover fresh details about the silent contract while following a time limited side story focused on Diane. Completing these seasonal objectives rewards players with an event currency called pumpcelium. This currency can be redeemed in a dedicated Halloween store for themed room decorations, customizable personal posters, and fresh cosmetic gear.
The event store adds 8 time limited cosmetic pieces, including 2 pins, 3 coats, and 3 sweaters, alongside 3 separate rare outfits. Lex also adjusted several core inventory mechanics. Picking up a new outfit during a mission now automatically replaces the previously carried item. The Foil outfit has been reclassified to legendary status, and spawn rates for clothing inside backpacks and safes have been recalibrated.
Atmospheric changes alter the main lobby and specific forest zones, which now contain hidden collectible posters and a new valuable item. The patch also resolves technical problems that impacted multiplayer sessions. Code fixes correct hidden hint displays for connected clients, resolve terrain collision bugs, and remove generation errors that previously prevented missions from starting correctly.
