OnePlus Buds Clip Debut with Reversible Open Ear Design and Dynaudio Sound

OnePlus has officially released the OnePlus Buds Clip, marking the entry of the brand into the open ear headphone market. The wireless earbuds feature an adaptive nickel titanium memory alloy bridge and automatically adjust audio channels based on which ear they are placed on. The new audio accessory is now available across select overseas retail channels.

OnePlus partnered with Dynaudio to tune the internal acoustic profile. Each earpiece runs a dual driver system consisting of an 11mm woofer for low end punch and a 9mm tweeter for high frequency clarity. The earbuds support the LHDC 3.0 high resolution transmission protocol to deliver high bitrate audio over Bluetooth. To address the audio bleeding common in open ear designs, the hardware uses a dipole sound field system that projects acoustic waves directly into the ear canal while canceling outward leakage.

Each earpiece weighs 5.2 grams and relies on a flexible C shaped bridge made of nickel titanium memory alloy. This structure automatically bends to match the curvature of different ears and holds an official comfort certification from TUV Rheinland. A built in orientation sensor handles automatic channel assignment. Users can put either earbud on either ear without checking physical markings, and the internal processor immediately routes the left and right audio channels correctly.

The earbuds deliver up to 9.5 hours of continuous playback on 1 charge, with the bundled charging case pushing total listening time to 40 hours. A dedicated 6nm AI audio processor manages power efficiency and real time audio adjustments. For rapid device switching, the earbuds support both Google Fast Pair for Android hardware and Windows Swift Pair for PCs. The exterior chassis carries an IP55 rating, protecting the internal electronics against dust intrusion and moisture during workouts.
