Porsche has unveiled the Mission S, a concept car that previews the design language for the next generation of company sports cars. The prototype blends the traditional 911 roofline with aerodynamics drawn from historic racing vehicles including the 935 and 917. Technical details regarding the powertrain remain unannounced as the vehicle currently serves as a styling study.
Porsche structured the exterior of the Mission S around multiple motorsport references. The front section features vertical headlights and air channels reminiscent of the 935 racer. Dive planes on the front fenders draw inspiration from the 919 Hybrid prototype, while the roof integrates an intake scoop referencing the 917. At the rear, a large wing mirrors the aero setup seen on the 911 GT1 from the late 1990s.
The concept features a mid engine layout paired with a minimalist interior built directly around the driver. Porsche has kept all performance figures and motor specifications secret. The company framed the vehicle as a design benchmark to test aerodynamic ideas and styling directions, without confirming which individual elements will transfer to upcoming road cars.
