An independent developer has released an unofficial PC port for the original Uncharted trilogy on Windows. Created by programmer SuperMedo, the software runs Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection via Vulkan graphics translation at up to 120 fps. Players must supply their own decrypted PS4 files to play.
The software executes original PS4 code directly on the host computer processor rather than relying on standard emulation layers. Graphics translate through the Vulkan API with support for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Visual features include up to 120 fps output, frame generation, Nvidia DLSS, and AMD FSR 3.1 and 4 upscaling. Players can control Nathan Drake using standard gamepads or a keyboard and mouse setup. The single launcher handles automatic patch downloads and adds direct shortcuts into Steam.
SuperMedo does not distribute copyrighted game files. Users must supply an officially dumped and decrypted copy of the PS4 collection for the software to extract assets. Community testing confirms all 3 campaigns are playable from start to finish, though visual bugs persist. Uncharted 2 exhibits occasional texture loading errors, while Uncharted 3 suffers from temporary black and green rendering glitches on character models. The developer continues to push software updates to correct these graphical errors.
