vivo Y600 Debuts with 10000 mAh Battery and Record Setting Runtime

vivo has launched the Y600, a smartphone centered around a massive 10,000 mAh battery. The handset set a Guinness World Record by sustaining a continuous live stream for 32 hours and 37 minutes on 1 charge. It is currently available in China starting at $280.

The 10,000 mAh battery provides the core focus of the hardware, supporting 44W wired fast charging. It also supports wired reverse charging through the USB Type C port, allowing the phone to function as a power bank for other electronics. The device runs on OriginOS 6 software.

vivo selected a 6.82 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2800x1260 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel supports HDR content and outputs 1.07 billion colors. Processing relies on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chip, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Imaging components include a 50 MP primary rear camera and an 8 MP front sensor for video calls. The handset incorporates an under display optical fingerprint scanner, an infrared blaster, NFC, and 5G cellular radios.

The phone comes in black, blue, and gold finishes. The base 6/128GB configuration sells for $280, while the 8/128GB version costs $295. Buyers wanting more storage can choose the 6/256GB tier for $310 or the top 8/256GB model for $350.
