Xreal has released the One Pro+ augmented reality glasses, offering a brighter 1200 nit display alongside AI HDR processing. The updated model upgrades 2D to 3D content conversion to 60 Hz and redesigns the nose pads for improved comfort during long sessions. The glasses are available now for $600, matching the launch price of the original model.
The primary upgrade centers on panel illumination. The One Pro+ reaches 1200 nits of brightness, up from the 700 nits found on the original One Pro. Xreal added an AI HDR algorithm to improve contrast and color reproduction during media playback. The device also doubles the frame rate of its two dimensional to three dimensional conversion system, jumping from 30 Hz to 60 Hz. This processing applies a depth effect to standard video, creating an experience comparable to spatial imaging systems like Apple Vision Pro.
Xreal altered the physical nose pad design by widening the surface contact area. The company claims this adjustment distributes weight evenly and prevents slipping without narrowing the 57 degree field of view. The core computing hardware remains unchanged from the previous generation, relying on the proprietary X1 spatial chip to render virtual workspaces for connected phones, PCs, or tablets. The frame lacks onboard camera sensors, positioning the device purely as an external wearable monitor rather than a standalone computing headset.
