Enough Phone Debuts with 5.3 Inch Screen and User Replaceable Battery

A new compact handset called the Enough Phone has launched on Kickstarter, targeting users seeking an alternative to oversized mobile devices. The hardware combines a pocket friendly 5.3 inch LCD with a user replaceable battery secured by 4 rear screws. Early bird pricing starts at $399 on the crowdfunding platform, with an expected retail price of $599 when retail shipments begin.

The chassis measures 132.8 millimeters tall and 63.8 millimeters wide, matching the pocket footprint of the iPhone 13 mini. Body thickness reaches 12 millimeters to accommodate a removable 3500 mAh battery pack. Users can swap the power cell by removing 4 screws on the recycled polycarbonate rear shell. Up front, the 5.3 inch display operates at a resolution of 1520x720 pixels.

MediaTek provides the processing hardware with a 4 nanometer Dimensity 7500 processor. The internal configuration pairs 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, expandable via a microSD card slot. Imaging relies on a 50 MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor alongside a 32 MP front camera. Additional hardware features include Wi Fi 6, eSIM support, NFC, and a fingerprint scanner integrated directly into the power button.

Buyers can select between standard Android 17 and an alternative lightweight operating system called OdysseyOS, which removes background bloat and nonessential apps. The development team commits to software security patches through the year 2032 to maximize device longevity. The project remains in the prototype stage on Kickstarter, with an engineering sample promised in late 2026 and initial customer deliveries planned for mid 2027.
