Honor Magic9 Series Set for Global Rollout with 11000 mAh Battery Option

Honor has announced the global rollout of the Magic9 series, bringing flagship silicon and massive batteries to international markets. The lineup spans 3 models featuring battery capacities up to 11000 mAh, Snapdragon 8 processors, and dual 200 MP cameras. Global pricing remains unconfirmed, with regional launches starting in Hong Kong before expanding into Europe early next year.

Honor built the base Magic9 around a compact 6.37 inch screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 silicon. An 8000 mAh battery powers the chassis, delivering long runtime in a standard form factor. Imaging relies on 2 separate 200 MP sensors covering primary and telephoto focal lengths, alongside a 50 MP ultra wide camera. A 55 MP front camera uses a square sensor format, letting users shoot selfies across multiple aspect ratios without cropping.

The Magic9 Pro Max scales the display up to 6.8 inches and upgrades processing to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. It runs an 8800 mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. Honor equips the device with dual 200 MP cameras and a dedicated H1 image processor designed for complex video tasks. For cinematic recording, the phone includes an ARRI CINEMA mode capable of 4K capture at 60 frames per second. It supports ARRI LogC3, includes 14 built in ARRI Looks, and connects to a library of 87 color profiles.

The Magic9 Super Edition prioritizes battery endurance over high end optics. It packs a massive 11000 mAh cell supported by 80W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds. The internal hardware runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, though the camera setup is scaled back compared to the other 2 models. Honor plans to open regional sales in the coming weeks before initiating a broader rollout across European markets.
