Lenovo Kaitian Launches Enterprise AI PC with Zhaoxin CPU and Houmo NPU

Lenovo Kaitian has launched its first domestic AI desktop built specifically for corporate enterprise environments. The workstation pairs an 8 core Zhaoxin KX 7000 processor with a Houmo LQ50 NPU to deliver 160 TOPS of local computing power. The machine runs Kylin OS and comes configured with Tianxi AI Pro software to execute localized 35B parameter language models.

Lenovo Kaitian equips the workstation with the Zhaoxin KX 7000 8 core processor alongside the Houmo Intelligent Liqing LQ50 NPU. This accelerator provides 160 TOPS of INT8 computing power in the standard configuration, with architectural support scaling up to 320 TOPS. The NPU relies on 24GB of dedicated memory running across a 153.6 GB/s bandwidth bus. This dedicated hardware allows the workstation to run local open source models including the Qwen 3.5 series and the larger Qwen 3.6 35B A3B model without sending data to outside servers.

The system runs Kylin OS and arrives with preinstalled Tianxi AI Pro software. Lenovo Kaitian targets corporate workflows with this installation, providing automated digital agents built for continuous round the clock operation. Running all processing tasks on local hardware ensures corporate records and enterprise communications remain inside private company networks.

Independent cooling channels isolate heat generated by the processor and the NPU. A front hexagonal honeycomb intake panel directs airflow toward high pressure turbine fans regulated by automated temperature sensors. In a 25 degree Celsius room, chassis exterior temperatures measure 33 degrees at idle and 41 degrees under full system load. Raising ambient room temperatures to 35 degrees results in a peak full load chassis temperature of 46 degrees. Operational noise levels remain low, registering 19.4 dB at idle and 29.5 dB during active NPU inference tasks.
