Lofree has launched the Flow Lite 2, a low profile mechanical keyboard following the original model that sold over 250000 units. The updated design brings new Echo linear switches, an integrated status display, and flexible internal acoustic padding across 84 key and 100 key layouts. The keyboard is available in black and white finishes starting at $109.
Lofree equips the keyboard with Echo linear switches requiring 45 grams of actuation force compared to 40 grams on the previous generation. The internal build uses a flexible circuit board with precision cutouts and 3 millimeter sound dampening foam to soften typing acoustics. A small integrated display screen shows battery levels, active connection modes, and hardware settings in real time.
Buyers can choose between an 84 key layout or a 100 key layout with a full number pad. Connectivity covers USB, Bluetooth, and 2.4 GHz wireless across macOS, Windows, iOS, iPadOS, and Android platforms. The board supports hot swappable switch replacement without soldering, alongside key remapping through VIA and Lofree Hub software. A 3000 mAh battery delivers up to 100 hours of wireless use over Bluetooth with the backlight turned off.
Lofree prices the 84 key Flow Lite 2 at $109, while the 100 key version costs $119. Both models are available now in black and white color options.
