Nvidia RTX 50 Series Faces Factory Price Hikes Across Major Brands

Graphics card pricing for the Nvidia RTX 50 series is climbing as manufacturing costs rise across board partners. A supply chain report from ChannelGate via leaker harukaze5719 reveals that Colorful and other vendors are applying factory level price hikes across their entire current lineup. The adjustments push wholesale costs up by 150 to 500 dollars on high tier hardware, with entry level models also seeing smaller increases.

Colorful implemented the sharpest increases on top tier silicon. The RTX 5090D v2 climbed by $330 to $500, adding that amount to the base factory price. The RTX 5080 followed with an increase of $370 to $450. Mid tier cards are also affected, with the RTX 5070 Ti increasing by roughly $150, while the standard RTX 5070 climbs by approximately $90 to $135.

Mainstream and budget desktop cards face smaller adjustments. The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB variant sees a factory increase of approximately $37 to $60, while the 8GB version goes up by roughly $15 to $22. At the bottom of the stack, the RTX 5060 climbs by approximately $22 to $30, with partner brands like Galax and KFA2 raising prices by about $30. Earlier generation graphics cards keep their previous agency pricing without changes.

Internal information from add in card makers confirms that this pricing pressure extends beyond a single assembly plant. Multiple board partners verified that higher component costs are forcing price updates across every major brand this month. Mainstream cards are expected to see wholesale increases starting at roughly 200 yuan, while high tier cards will see sustained price hikes as new shipments reach retail shelves.
