OnePlus has no plans to develop future iterations of its compact smartphone series according to industry insider Digital Chat Station. The brand launched the OnePlus 15T earlier this year as a dedicated compact flagship running on top tier Snapdragon hardware. While current stock remains available starting at 4299 yuan ($595), future releases will pivot toward wider displays instead.
The OnePlus 15T runs on the fifth generation Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. A 7500 mAh battery supplies power to offset the high battery drain typical of compact mobile devices. The handset measures 71.82 millimeters across the frame and weighs 194 grams. A balanced 50 to 50 weight profile keeps the chassis stable in hand, while screen bezels measure 1.1 millimeters on all 4 sides of the 6.32 inch panel. The rear camera housing uses a compact metal square profile designed to stay flat against fingers during two handed use.
OnePlus offers the 15T in 5 hardware tiers in China. The entry model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 4299 yuan ($595). Stepping up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage brings the price to 4599 yuan ($635). The 512GB storage version costs 4899 yuan ($678) with 12GB RAM and 5199 yuan ($720) with 16GB RAM. The top tier edition pairing 16GB RAM with 1TB of storage retails for 5699 yuan ($790).
