Pebble has released the Qore Vox, a screenless fitness tracker that doubles as an AI voice recorder for lectures and business meetings. The wristband pairs biometric tracking with on board audio capture that syncs with an app to generate automated transcripts and text summaries. The device is currently available in India for $112.
Users start recording audio by pressing the side button 2 times. The internal flash storage holds up to 100 minutes of speech before requiring a sync with a mobile device. Once connected, the companion Pebble Vox phone app converts raw audio into text transcriptions and short summary bullet points for easy sharing. The speech software supports English alongside 24 foreign languages, including 7 regional dialects from India. A blue external LED light illuminates during recording to notify surrounding people.
The tracker monitors pulse rates, heart rate variability, blood oxygen saturation, and stress. The system analyzes nightly sleep data to generate a daily Recovery Score and an automated health report. For workouts, the software supports over 100 sport modes, automatically recognizing walking and running routines. Connected GPS functions rely on a paired phone to map outdoor workout paths.
Pebble rates the battery life at up to 10 days on 1 full charge. Because the hardware lacks a display screen, incoming calls, text messages, and app alerts trigger light cues and vibration motors inside the chassis. Buyers can choose between 3 strap colors: black, blue, and brown. The tracker costs $112 in India, while international availability remains unannounced.
