Qualcomm Adreno GPU Driver 2026.10.1 Improves Snapdragon PC Gaming

Qualcomm has released the 2026.10.1 Adreno GPU graphics driver for Snapdragon X and Snapdragon X2 PC platforms. The update targets game stability across multiple modern PC releases while boosting performance for creative applications like Luminar Neo. However, Qualcomm warned of an active Windows 11 bug that can crash specific titles when users alter display resolutions or disconnect external monitors.

The driver provides stability corrections for first generation Snapdragon X silicon. Gaming improvements focus on Red Dead Redemption 2, RoboCop Rogue City, and Naraka BladePoint. Creative workflows also receive reliability gains, with the update targeting performance improvements in Luminar Neo and Scam AI.

Snapdragon X2 hardware receives fixes across a broader software catalog. The driver refines stability and rendering quality for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, Banishers Ghosts of New Eden, Forza Horizon 6, and Grand Theft Auto V Legacy. Qualcomm also added fixes for Marvel Rivals, NBA 2K26, RoboCop Rogue City, and World War Z. Productivity software on the X2 benefits from the same performance patches applied to Luminar Neo and Scam AI.

A persistent operating system issue affects machines running Microsoft Windows 11 Build 26100.3915 or newer. Qualcomm notes that changing display modes, switching screen resolutions, or unplugging an external monitor can trigger hard crashes or system freezes. This crash issue currently impacts players running Metro Exodus, Sid Meier's Civilization VI, and Left 4 Dead 2.
