Razer has introduced the Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition, a limited PlayStation 5 controller built around an exposed magnesium alloy frame. The controller carries magnetic TMR sensor thumbsticks, 6 remappable buttons, and PC polling rates reaching 2000 Hz. Initial production is capped at 1337 numbered units, priced at $350 in the US and €369 in Europe.
The controller uses a cast magnesium alloy skeleton with geometric cutouts across the front and back. Total weight sits at 260 grams, which is only 2 grams heavier than the standard plastic model. Razer added a translucent glass touchpad with a laser etched logo. The side grips use a textured polymer that resists oils and surface wear, while the face buttons and directional pad are molded from double shot PBT plastic to prevent lettering from fading over time.
Internal hardware mirrors the standard Raiju V3 Pro layout. Symmetrical thumbsticks use magnetic TMR sensors to eliminate stick drift, supported by 6 assignable shortcut buttons. The triggers toggle mechanically between instant short stops and full analog pull distance. While designed primarily for PlayStation 5, the gamepad connects to PC setups wirelessly at polling rates up to 2000 Hz. Players adjust stick sensitivity, trigger travel, and button maps through Razer Synapse on desktop or the mobile Razer PS app, storing custom profiles in onboard memory.
The controller ships inside a synthetic leather travel case with swappable components. The box includes alternate concave and convex thumbstick caps, 4 rear button blanking plates with an installation tool, a 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed wireless USB dongle, and a USB A to USB C cable. Razer plans to release the controller in regional rollout batches, with every single unit from the initial 1337 unit run carrying an individual laser engraved collector number.
