Rogbid Model R5 Smartwatch Runs Android with Rotating 5 MP Camera

Rogbid has released the Model R5, an Android smartwatch capable of operating independently from a companion phone. The device features a rotating camera on a 190 degree hinge and supports 4G LTE mobile networks through an integrated SIM slot. It is available now on the official international Rogbid website starting at $129.

The watch runs standard Android applications on a 2.4 inch AMOLED screen with 480x480 resolution. A Unisoc W527 processor powers the device alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The physical SIM slot provides voice calls and data access without a phone nearby, while Bluetooth remains available for users who prefer standard smartphone pairing.

A 5 MP camera sits on the top edge of the casing on a mechanical hinge that rotates 190 degrees. Users can flip the lens forward for video calls or point it outward to capture photos and scan QR codes. Health tracking features include monitors for heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and sleep cycles. Built in GPS and a digital compass handle navigation, and the entire casing carries an IP67 rating against dust and water immersion.

The watch comes in black and gold color options and fits standard 22 mm quick release straps. The retail package includes a neck chain adapter that allows users to wear the watch face like a pendant. Rogbid also bundles extra wristbands made from leather and stainless steel directly in the box.
