vivo has launched the global edition of the vivo Buds Clip, bringing an open ear clip on design to the international market. The earbuds feature LDAC codec support, a 12 mm dynamic driver, and a combined 42 hour battery life with the charging case. The product is currently available in European regions priced at 179 euros across 3 color finishes.
vivo built the Buds Clip with a symmetrical open ear design weighing 5.2 grams per earbud. A shape memory titanium alloy bridge clamps to the outer ear and removes designated left or right positions. The internal hardware automatically detects which ear the clip rests on and routes the stereo audio channels accordingly. An IP55 rating protects the earbuds against dust and splashing water, though the charging case lacks water resistance ratings.
Sound reproduction relies on a 12 mm dynamic driver with dual magnets. The system supports LDAC and Hi Res Audio Wireless alongside spatial sound profiles simulating cinema, studio, and concert hall acoustics. A 10 band equalizer handles frequency customization. To prevent sound spill, vivo added a Leakage Prevention mode that reduces audio escape for nearby listeners. An automatic volume scaling system also adjusts sound output based on real time ambient noise.
Voice capture relies on 2 microphones paired with a VPU bone conduction sensor. This sensor setup isolates speech frequencies while digital algorithms filter out wind, traffic, and background noise during phone calls. Bluetooth connectivity supports 3 devices at the same time. Users can shift playback across a phone, tablet, and computer without pairing the hardware again.
A single charge provides up to 10 hours of continuous playback. The companion case extends the total listening reserve to 42 hours. A quick 10 minute charge returns 3 hours of playback. These playback numbers reflect testing under AAC streaming at 50% volume with sound effects turned off. vivo sells the Buds Clip for 179 euros in Aurora Purple, Moonlight White, and Stardust Black.
