These scores even exceed those of the desktop Core Ultra 5 225F (Arrow Lake), raising questions about the latter's value proposition.

Core 7 240H Specifications

The Core 7 240H features:

  • 6 Performance cores + 4 Efficient cores
  • 2.5 GHz base frequency, up to 5.0 GHz boost clock
  • 24 MB L3 cache
  • Intel Xe iGPU with 64 Compute Units (8 Xe Cores), 1.5 GHz max clock

While the iGPU achieved decent OpenCL scores (13362/13478), the inclusion of an RTX 4050 in the tested laptop suggests it's necessary for optimal gaming performance (the RTX 4050 scored 84369 in the same test).

Intel is also planning to release the Core 200U series for ultra-low power systems. Both the 200H and 200U series are expected to launch around CES 2025.
