World's First Dimensity 9400 Tablet Tipped with Under-Display Camera

A new leak suggests the world's first Dimensity 9400-powered tablet is on the way, featuring a hidden selfie camera under the display.

MediaTek's Dimensity 9400, a powerful chipset currently found in high-end smartphones like the Oppo Find X8 Pro, is rumored to be making its way into tablets. A new leak suggests one of these tablets will feature a front-facing camera hidden under the display.

According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the tablet will sport a slim metallic unibody similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, but in a more compact form factor. The display is described as having rounded corners and a high refresh rate, despite being relatively small (around 8.8 inches). Interestingly, the display is expected to be LCD, not OLED like the under-display camera phones currently on the market.

The identity of this upcoming tablet remains unknown. Given the rumored 8.8-inch display size, possible candidates include a successor to the Lenovo Legion Y700 or the RedMagic Nova.
