AnTuTu's April Android Smartphone User Satisfaction Rankings Revealed
AnTuTu's crew, renowned for their benchmarking skills, have just released their April rankings, but this time it's more about how much users love Android smartphones. Interesting fact: the list isn't filled with the latest releases as of the publishing date, and one specific brand appears to be capturing a whole lot of hearts. And just one phone from the list comes from outside China. Let's take a peek.
The Top Contenders: Who's at the Head of the Pack
Headlining the list is the HUAWEI nova 12 Ultra with an astounding 99.46% positive feedback rate. That's some serious love from users.
Coming in at number two is the Honor Magic7 RSR with a stellar 99.33% user approval. It seems closely related tech is playing the right game.
Rounding out the top three is another HUAWEI device, the HUAWEI Mate 70 Pro+, which also scored incredibly high at 98.77%. And believe it or not, HUAWEI snags fourth place too, with the Mate 70 RS at 97.14%.
Beyond the Podium: Other Highly-Rated Phones
The rest of the top ten features a mix of familiar names and a few surprises:
- Fifth is the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, with an overwhelming 96.36% satisfaction.
- The OPPO Find X8 Ultra is next at 96.19%.
- HUAWEI returns in seventh position with the Pura 70 Pro+ (96.15%).
- Shattering the Chinese brand stranglehold is the Samsung Galaxy S24+ in eighth, the sole non-Chinese model, at 94.23% satisfaction.
- The Meizu 21 Pro is a surprise entry at ninth with 93.73%.
- And finally, but not least, the only folder to make it through the test, the vivo X Fold3 Pro, completes the top at 93.65%.
An Important Note: Context Matters
It's really interesting to consider that AnTuTu compiled this ranking by combining user feedback from Chinese consumers. What that essentially translates to is that the preferences and likes of people can differ in other parts of the globe. Therefore, while it's a fascinating glimpse into what users like, it's healthy to consider this within regional contexts.
