Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Leaks Show Big Design and Spec Changes

The new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 might be one of the biggest updates to the line in a long time. Recent leaks say the phone will not only have better parts inside but will also look different, with some old, more useful design ideas coming back.

Key Design Switches for the Z Fold7

There are several big changes reported for the phone's look.

Slimmer Shape: One main change is it will be thinner. Leaked views show the Z Fold7 much slimmer than the one before. A key point is the tiny space seen around the power button when the phone is half open.

Back to Hole-Punch Camera: It seems Samsung will stop using the under-screen camera on the inner side. They will go back to a normal hole-punch front camera, like in its other phones. This choice may come from bad feedback on the old camera’s picture quality and maybe some patent issues.

Simple Back Camera Set-Up: After not liking the camera look on the Fold6, it's said that Samsung has taken off the textured sides. The new camera set looks more simple, a style also rumored for the next Galaxy S26 Ultra.
