Nvidia N1X GPU Geekbench Leak Reveals Core Specs 48 SMs and 6144 CUDA Cores in Test

Nvidia N1X GPU Shows Up on Geekbench, Shows Core Specs

After an earlier test of its CPU, the GPU of Nvidia's new N1X laptop chip was seen on a Geekbench OpenCL list. Even though the score was low, it gives us the first real look at the GPU's build.

Test Scores and Context

The Nvidia N1X test model got 46,361 points in the OpenCL test, a score close to an NVIDIA RTX 2050 laptop GPU. Still, this score does not show its full power, as the GPU's highest speed was only 1,048 MHz in the test.

Main GPU Specs Shown

The big news from this leak is about the hardware. The test tells us this about the N1X's built-in GPU:

  • SMs in the GPU: It's said to have 48 SMs.
  • Possible CUDA Core Count: If Nvidia puts 128 CUDA cores per SM as usual, the N1X GPU would have 6,144 CUDA cores.
  • Where it Stands: With 6,144 CUDA cores, this GPU sits between an RTX 5070 Ti (5,888 cores) and an RTX 5080 (8,192 cores).

More Info from the Test

The Geekbench post also gave more on the test system, helping us see the N1X setup better:

  • CPU Set: It has 20 cores, split into two groups of 10 each.
  • System RAM: The test laptop had 128 GB of RAM.
  • VRAM Share: 64 GB of the system RAM went to the GPU.
  • Operating System: It used Windows 11 Enterprise.

Looking Ahead

Right now, this test data is the freshest info we have on the N1X chip. Reports hint at a possible delay in the chip's release until 2026, so it looks like we'll keep seeing more info like this from tests.
