Ghost of Yotei Free Multiplayer "Legends" Mode Set to Release in 2026
In Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025, developer Sucker Punch Productions promised a multiplayer co-op mode called Ghost of Yotei Legends for Ghost of Yotei. Following the same course as that of its predecessor, the DLC will be free for anyone who owns the main game and is set to launch in 2026.
The main game release is Ghost of Yotei, set to be launched for PS5 and PS5 Pro on October 2, 2025.
What to Expect from Ghost of Yotei Legends
Like Ghost of Tsushima Legends, this part will be scary and mythical but more grounded than the main single-player campaign. Two important game types are given by Sucker Punch:
- Two-player story missions
- Four-player survival matches
There will be four different classes of characters from which players may choose. The objective will involve battling new types of enemies and demonic, giant versions of the "Yōtei Six," who are key figures in the game's world.
Release and Pricing Information
Ghost of Yotei Legends will be completely free for anyone who owns a copy of Ghost of Yotei, Sucker Punch has pointed out. While the multigame is set for a late 2025 launch, the other component will not be made available until 2026. More specifics on the mode will be revealed as its launch approaches.
