Get More Details on One-Netbook OneXPlayer X1 Air Gaming Handheld
One-Netbook has revealed more details for its gaming handheld, the OneXPlayer X1 Air, which will be the first in the series since the X1 original to use Intel processors. The new architecture is Lunar Lake, but other features are also going to change significantly in the area of design and connectivity.
Processor and Architecture
The OneXPlayer X1 Air is built around Intel's Lunar Lake platform. So far, One-Netbook has confirmed that the device will be available with the Core Ultra 7 258V processor. This marks a shift back to Intel for the X1 line, which has recently used other architectures.
Key Design and Connectivity Changes
The following are the most important updates and trade-offs compared to the models previously made:
- Built-in Kickstand: First time in the series, the X1 Air has an integrated kickstand. This is a considerable improvement since older models had a kickstand that had to be attached, which blocked one of the air intake vents.
- OCuLink Port Deleted: The dedicated OCuLink port for high-speed eGPU connectivity has been dropped from this model.
- New SSD Standard: It adopts the proprietary Biwin Mini SSD standard, also seen in other recent handhelds.
- eGPU via Thunderbolt 4: The removal of OCuLink means that external GPU expansion will depend entirely on the Thunderbolt 4 ports of the device.

Release Date Information
The OneXPlayer X1 Air will have its official launch in China on September 8, 2025. That confirms that One-Netbook missed its earlier planned window for the handheld, which was August.
