Lenovo has announced the ThinkCentre X Ultra, a compact 1.6L mini PC powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor. The desktop supports up to 128GB of high speed memory and offers 10Gb Ethernet connectivity alongside twin Thunderbolt 4 ports. Unveiled at IFA 2026, the unit aims to bring workstation grade hardware to space constrained offices.
The chassis measures 183 by 183 by 51 millimeters, packing serious computing density into a small volume. Memory capacity reaches up to 128GB of LPDDR5X 8533. In a move that directly benefits graphical workloads and machine learning tasks, users can assign up to 96GB of that system memory directly to the GPU. For internal storage, Lenovo provides 2 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD slots. Wireless connectivity options include either a MediaTek MT7925 or a Realtek RTL8922AE card.
Port selection on the front includes 2 USB C 10Gbps ports with 15W power delivery alongside a 3.5mm combo audio jack. The rear panel is packed with display and networking options. You get 1 DisplayPort 2.1, 1 HDMI 2.1 port, 2 USB A 10Gbps ports, and 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports with 15W power delivery. Wired networking gets a major boost with a 10Gb RJ 45 ethernet jack, and there is also a customizable expansion slot for extra hardware modules.
Lenovo also introduced the ThinkCentre M75s Gen 6 and M75q Gen 6 alongside the main reveal. Both systems run on AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400G desktop processors designed for enterprise tasks. The smaller M75q Gen 6 model includes a dedicated PCIe Gen4 expansion slot for add in cards. These systems expand the lineup for enterprise buyers who want reliable desktop performance without buying full tower computers.
