Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro+ Design before Launch on August 21
The event will be held on August 21, 2025, in China by Xiaomi for launching Redmi Note 15 smartphone series. Just before the event, along with Thomas Wang, the general manager of the company, it has unveiled official designs of both the Redmi Note 15 Pro and its flagship Redmi Note 15 Pro+.
Shared Design and Flagship-Level Durability
Both Pro models will have almost the same rear design, giving up the dual-tone look of the previous generation. Durability is also another key focus of Xiaomi. The Pro+, confirmed by the company to be having "double-side drop-resistant" protection with the use of "flagship Dragon Crystal Glass" and qualified a 2-meter drop test 50 times. It is thus believed that the same high-level resistance could be achieved in the standard Pro model. Furthermore, both phones are confirmed to be protected with an IP69K standard for water and dust protection.
Redmi Note 15 Pro: Flat Screen and Dual Camera



The flat screen and dual camera characterize the standard Redmi Note 15 Pro. Some of the main features are:
- Display: Flat display with slim bezels. It is less according to the Pro+.
- Camera: A 50 MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is confirmed through official photos with a secondary ultrawide sensor.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+: Curved Display and Triple Camera System



The Pro+ model is the most premium among all and has more premium features:
- Display: Fully curved screen creating a comfortable and premium feel as per Xiaomi. Reports suggest that it would be a "1.5K" resolution OLED panel.
- Camera: Back side carries a 50 MP main sensor with OIS with two other cameras. These are expected of being a 50 MP telephoto and an ultrawide.
- Battery: Rumoured to be coming with a massive 7,000 mAh battery.
Expected Core Specifications
Full details are yet to come, but some core specs will likely be found on both Pro models according to official teasers and reports:
- Processor: Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 is expected to be at the heart of these two devices.
- Charging: Both devices are likely to support 90W fast charging.
Xiaomi is expected to release official revelations in a teaser way until the big launch event on August 21.
