Digiera HoloMax Handheld with Glasses-Free 3D Screen Debuts at IFA 2025

Digiera has officially brought the HoloMax-a handheld gaming PC with a glasses-free 3D display-to the IFA 2025. This machine pairs the unique screen technology with significant processing power from AMD and a versatile hybrid design.

The Glasses-Free 3D Display

At the heart of the HoloMax is a 10.95-inch, 120Hz screen, 2,560 x 1,600. Effectively giving glasses-free 3D images, some key technologies are employed by the system.

  • Smart Eye Tracking: It tracks the user's eyes so that the 3D image is directed properly, keeping the effect with movement.
  • Real-Time 2D-to-3D Conversion: With AstraDepth3D and AI, the HoloMax can convert most standard 2D games and content into 3D in real time, automatically.

Performance Tiers and Specifications

The HoloMax will be offered in three configurations, powered by AMD processors:

  • Low Configuration: AMD R7-8840U (8 Core/16 Threads) CPU, 32 GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 storage;
  • Mid Configuration: 64 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage;
  • High Configuration: AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 (12 Core/24 Threads) CPU, 64 GB RAM, and 4 TB storage.

All the units are cooled through 4200 rpm fan operation developed with dual-copper heat pipes and aluminum heat sink.

Controllers and Hybrid Design

Detachable magnetic controllers with Hall effect joysticks and linear triggers that can operate in three configurations have been created for the HoloMax.

  • Walls: Controllers attached directly to the sides of the tablet.
  • Free: Controllers can be used wirelessly and separated from the tablet.
  • Docked: Attached to a bridging dock so it feels more like a gamepad controller.

As a laptop, it comes with an adjustable stand and detachable keyboard.

Battery, Ports, and Connectivity

Power comes from a 7,200 mAh battery, which Digiera rates for up to 3.3 hours of gaming, 8 hours of work, or 10 hours of video play. Ports include one USB-C 4.0, one standard USB-C, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, one HDMI 2.1 port, and one 3.5 mmm headphone jack.

Kickstarter Prices and Availability

The Digiera HoloMax will go live on Kickstarter in October 2025. The price structure is:

  • Super Early Bird Pricing: $1,699
  • VIP Discounted Price: $1,499 for those who place a $30 reservation deposit.
