Asus ROG XG Mobile 2025 Comes with Updated Pricing and Retail Information Going Internationally

Asus has made the ROG XG Mobile 2025 eGPU available globally after more than nine months too long from the time it was officially announced that it was making a cameo at CES 2025. Now, the device packs either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or a GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU but with new prices and modes of availability attached.

Special Availability and Changes in Pricing

The ROG XG Mobile 2025 is besides not yet being sold directly through Asus's retail platform. EXcaliber PC in the US, on the other hand, has now made stock available for either model. The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti variant is available on Amazon when sold via EXcaliber PC.

The final prices of retail have gone up compared to the previously declared MSRPs:

  • GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Model: Costs $1,299.99 in the US, compared to $1,199.99 earlier during the MSRP mentioned. (Chinese MSRP is CNY 7,999 or ~$1,199).
  • GeForce RTX 5090 Model: Presently retails at $2,499.99 in the USA, up from $2,199.99 initially. (Chinese MSRP is CNY 16,999 or ~$2,399).

Both versions of the ROG XG Mobile 2025 share the same physical design and port selection:

  • Connectivity: Single Thunderbolt 5 port providing up to 140W via USB Power Delivery 3.1
  • Video Outputs: One DisplayPort 2.1, one HDMI 2.1 (FRL) port
  • Other Ports: Gigabit Ethernet port; UHS-II microSD slot
  • Power: Powered by a 330W AC adapter
  • Dimensions and Weight: The eGPU has dimensions of 296 x 208 x 155 mm and weighs 952 g.

Shipping Dates

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti model is now in stock and shipping. The more powerful one, the GeForce RTX 5090, is expected to roll out for shipping in the US on November 7.
